Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Milk is deviously creamy and satisfies that peanut butter and chocolate craving.
This recipe was inspired by a baby. Okay so not a baby but pregnancy induced craving. My pregnant friend Nichole has been craving ice cream, since like day one! She recently made my Pineapple Mango Smoothie and left me a facebook message saying “If I close my eyes it’s like I’m eating ice cream!”
And then the light bulb went off… and this recipe was born. (Get it… born? Ha ha!)
And even though this isn’t ice cream, it tastes pretty close to it! It’s so good! But if you wanted it thicker I would lessen the milk and freeze the half of banana in pieces, and possibly add more ice.
Let’s get something straight first, this isn’t a smoothie. It’s more of a frothy milk, packed with deliciousness which makes for a perfect breakfast for those on the go! Enjoy!!
To Make This Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Milk You Will Need:
- yogurt
- banana
- peanut butter
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- milk
Into your blender toss the ice cubes and vanilla…
Then the peanut butter and bananas.
Cocoa powder… *sniff* ahhh!
Lastly pour in the whole milk.
Firmly place the lid on the top of your blender, and let ‘er rip!
This chocolate milk isn’t overly sweet. I think the yogurt has enough sweetness for my taste. But feel free to add sugar or honey to sweeten it to your liking. I sprinkled mine with a little extra cocoa powder… and yes I got a cocoa powder stache. So what? I was alone… and there is no proof! Ha!
Enjoy! And if you give this Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Milk recipe a try, let me know! Snap a photo and tag me on twitter or instagram!

Yum! My parents used to own a Ice Cream shop when I was younger and I made a similar shake with bananas and PB 🙂
I love your ingredient photo. The idea is great too, but since I can't eat PB right now, I'm not especially lovin' this post. 😉 (jealousy is a terrible thing)
Sounds like the perfect drink after a good workout!
