True story: I will be on QVC tonight!
If you follow me on snapchat (laurie.mcnamara) then you now know this to be true since I first posted the news in my snap story a few weeks ago, that I am indeed GOING ON QVC! Around the middle of October I spent a few days in West Chester, PA to attend a media training class and practice doing demos in front of a camera to which you needed to get certified in order to go on live TV. No pressure right? After the day was done I was instantly certified.
Soooooo as I sit in my hotel room waiting for what could possibly be the most exciting thing I’ve ever done, I wanted to share the exciting news. I will be on the In The Kitchen With David tonight (11/04) at some point between 8p to 12am (EST) to promote my cookbook! My segment time has not yet been relayed to me as of now, but I will be posting it to my Simply Scratch facebook page once I do!
Serioulsy, what is this life?
To say that I’m not a little nervous would be a complete lie. But I was definitely more nervous and anxious when I did the Fox2 Detroit cooking segment. FOR SURE. I think doing local news on top of the media training helped prep me for this immensely because I do feel more confident and prepared. Plus David is so amazingly friendly so how could anyone not feed off his energy, right?
So if you just so happen to watch tonight! Thank you!
*Insert happy dance.
